While exercising our dog this morning at Carwoola a flock of approximately 25 Red Wattlebirds crossed our path, heading SE. From the amount of noise in the trees from which they had flown I estimate there were another 5 or more still plucking up the energy to take the next step. All other honeyeaters have gone very quiet in this area. Martin |
