Subject: | Wedge-tailed Eagles near Canberra airport |

At around 9:30am this morning, I saw two Wedge-tailed Eagles circling
low beside
Pialligo Avenue, opposite the end of the main runway. The obligatory
magpies were
in hot pursuit, and a Virgin Blue jet was on final approach - but high
enough that a
bird strike was unlikely. -- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Paul Taylor Veni, vidi, tici - I came, I saw, I ticked. ******************************************************************************************************* This is the email announcement and discussion list of the Canberra Ornithologists Group.
