At around 9:30am this morning, I saw two Wedge-tailed Eagles circling low beside Pialligo Avenue, opposite the end of the main runway. The obligatory magpies were in hot pursuit, and a Virgin Blue jet was on final approach - but high enough that a
bird strike was unlikely.
