Another day of painting on my back deck, overlooking Kangaroo Valley enabled me to monitor a steady trickle of YFHEs moving past my place, always in a north-easterly direction.
 
Typically only groups of 15 or so, and spaced at 10 or 15 minute intervals.
Not the large groups which I so vividly remember from Pine Island in the 60s.
But over a day, there would easily be 300 plus individuals passing through.
 
Weather high cloud, part sun, mild. A good day for painting.
