Tied cormorant

This shot is from Fremantle Harbour last month.  I have only just got around to looking at it, and have noticed fishing line apparently tied to the foot of the pied cormorant on the left, and draped over the railing where it must have flown in.  I guess that is a perennial hazard where cormorants and recreational fisherpersons frequent the same shores.

Sorry about the size, but shrinking it takes the line out altogether.
