Around 8pm yesterday we were walking back from Manuka to our house in Griffith, and there were dozens of them flying around and calling and feeding in the street trees in Barrallier and Mitchell Streets. You couldn't look up without seeing several at a time flying from tree to tree.

Pity they are not birds but for the first time in my nearly 25 years at this Kambah address, I have had Flying foxes here and within the GBS area. at least four in a flowering eucalypt just ten minutes ago (and last night also).
