I wonder whether any of you (a) heard Glen Chilton interviewed on Radio National a few months ago or (b) have read ‘The Curse of the Labrador Duck’.  My sister gave me a copy for Christmas and it contains a wealth of reflections on bird study that you might enjoy, if your tastes run to the subversive, like mine.  Heartily recommended.

 

Currently Glen is at JCU Townsviile MNQ.  I recently exchanged an email with him re the below.  Would be a great speaker for COG if we could ever get him down this way.
