(from Birding-Aus chatline)Today, the NSW Scientific Committee supported a nomination for the Regent Honeyeater to be listed as Critically Endangered in NSW. See http://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/determinations/regenthoneyeaterPD.htm for details. Aussie Bittern was also proposed to be upgraded from Vulnerable to Endangered in NSW today.
