An Australian Owlet-nightjar seen sitting at the entrance to a hollow of a mature Mealy Bundy Eucalyptus nortonii, on the south-western side of the mountain, at around 5pm this afternoon.  The hollow faced west and so the bird was sitting in full sun.  My best photos attached (combined total file size of 91 KB).
