Just read the Gang Gang.  I was out at Mulligans last weekend and the first dam had 2 families of Wood ducks with 8 very young chicks, each family,  with them.  So they must have had a second brood.
 
The Australasian Grebe  pair were still there.  The 2 A. Grebe chicks were still on the 2nd dam but with no sign of Mum now.
