The Spotted Turtledove was whitish with black speckling on the sides and back of the neck. It therefore looked like an aviary escapee. However, it was singing and it was standing on what looked like a nest. Will return to the spot and see if there are any repeat sightings.

For the first time in our street - but not in our GBS, there were around 7 Red-browed Finches this morning.
