It's hardly the most likely place for good sightings but yesterday (Monday 15th) there were several Dusky Woodswallows along Parkwood Road, Belconnen.

Directly east of the piles of rubbish where Revolve once operated there were five Rainbow bee eaters on the powerlines for perhaps 10 minute before they flew east.
On the ground a female White winged Triller foraged & then devoured a grasshopper/cricket.  Apparently solo, a Diamond firetail was gleaning seeds; sometimes flying up to grab from the topmost grass-flowers.  There were 15-20 Red rumped parrots. And all this on a nature-strip full of weed species.  The rows of surviving, planted eucalypts are sufficient to attract a Grey Shrike thrush to judge by its calls.
