FYI

Incidentally, on the same day as the Pied Oyc was upgraded to Endangered, the NSW Scientific Committee made final determinations to list another 5 species as Vulnerable in NSW. These are Varied Sitella, Flame Robin, Scarlet Robin, Spotted Harrier and Little Eagle. For full details see:

http://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/committee/FinalDeterminations.htm

Interestingly, White-browed Woodswallow was preliminarily listed at the same time as the above 5 species but didn not get the final determination.
(from Birding-Aus chatline, today)

I believe that there are plans to get the Scarlet Robin listed in the ACT.  The Sitella & Little Eagle are already listed in the ACT.
