7-8 WTNT at Jerrabomberra Wetlands tonight (14th) at 19.30. They were sweeping low over the ponds following the passage of a rain front.

Also seen one Whistling Kite and one immature Shelduck.

The water is now too high for crakes in Crake Alley, I did see a Spotless Crake climbing laboriously through the reeds about a foot above the new water level.
