Government offices in O'Reilly Street Wagga today. Above the outside porch (at the end of the walkway into the building) roosting on a concrete ledge was one Boobook owl (possible juvenile).  Looked surprised at the interest being shown. Did not seem to be getting much sleep.  They are terrific to see so close and in clear daylight.
