A King Parrot makes its first attack of the season on the seed-pod of a Catalpa (‘Indian Bean’) while the tree is in full green leaf. The usual height of the Catalpa Pod Festival comes just before Anzac Day when parrots and pods can be found dangling from the bare branches.
