I don't know whether it is early or not but, over the last week or so, 
Yellow-faced Honeyeaters and, particularly, Silvereyes have been quite 
noticeable.  In Macquarie, where I have lived for nearly 10 years, I've seen 
Mistletoebird and Rainbow Bee-eater passing through (1st records, as far as I 
recall, for me in the area).
