The Koel that I hear each morning in Griffith, I can sometimes see in the tree from my backyard, in a large Oak? tree in a back yard near Lindsay St/Favenc Circle corner.
New Years' morning he did honour us with his presence in a tall spindly gum that overhangs our back courtyard area - and noisly at that I might add. This one has been calling in this area all season.
