David,
I saw the black HE in a medium-sized mainly green eucalypt on Block 16 about 50 m in from the gate, just as we were leaving. I realized immediately it was new to me, but it went quickly before Elizabeth could get to it. The striking features were its black head and back, the long curving dark beak and the long triangle of black that stretched from its head and throat onto its white underside. It resembled an Eastern Spinebill in size and shape but no colours at all.
        I hope it stays around for you to confirm.
