These photos were sent to me by my brother in law who lives in Goyder St Narrabundah asking what species of bird is this. I told him it was a female Koel which were normally very hard to see let alone photograph. It is interesting to note that a number of Magpies kept their distance while the Koel seemed to enjoy a piece of cake.
