For a matter of interest there is a Con Park in SA called Lowan it was 
conserved for the Malleefowl.
It is located approx 45Klm east of Pompoota which is on the Murray River about 
10Klm south of Mannum.

However since 1994 Birds SA has had 7 field trips there and never found a 
Malleefowl.
