I drove over to Bungendore this morning to try to kick start my 2010 list. The Plumed Whistling-ducks were not on the pond at Trucking Yard Lane nor, as far as I could see had they moved to the Sewage Works. I also checked the next pond South on Hoskinstown Rd which had a few Australian Shelducks and some Wood Ducks. Perhaps the Plumes have gone to another small water body associated with cattle? |
