Taken at a small dam on Trucking Yard Lane, Bungendore at 11:45 this morning (31/12/2009). Many thanks to David McDonald for alerting me to this great way to wind up a very good year's birding!! I will of course go back tomorrow to see if I can make an equally good start to 2010! If I now interpret the List of unusual birds correctly this is the first sighting since 1998 and the first for the hinterland! Martn Attachment:
