We saw 2 native hens at Kelly's yesterday. They were not easy to see, being between 2 trees in the water at the southern end of the swamp. We also saw 2 black fronted dotterals in their usual spot, across the swamp, in the grass. A beautiful great egret was present. Where do they nest? The water level may have gone up a couple of inches since the rain Elizabeth ******************************************************************************************************* This is the email announcement and discussion list of the Canberra Ornithologists Group.
