For those interested the bird is a Black Bulbul, Hypsipetes leucocephalus, found in parts of Asia from India eastwards. Those doing the trip to Sri Lanka in February should see it there. It was here that I first saw the species. I think this photo, or one very similar, has been around for quite some time.
