The nest tree in front of Cygnus hide was rather busy today. 
  • A Great Egret was looking elegant,
  • at least 2 Spoonbills were on their nests (apparently it is possible to get good looks into one of them from the opposite, bovine enhanced side of the swamp).  Later in my tme there a disuote broke out between the attendant birds;;
  • 3 Australian White Ibis were also skulking around (ncluding one vanishing into the foliage higher up a tree;
  • At least 5 Black-tailed Native Hens were in the shade under the tree.
Much of this is shown in the attached image.
