Kelly's Swamp
  • 7 Black-tailed Native Hens on a small island directly infront of Cugnus hide;
  • There seemed to be 2 Spoonbills sitting on nests low on the RHS of the usual tree.  theer still seemed to be some construction going on, mainly by a third, non-sedentary bird.
  • An Australian White Ibis was also in the tree collecting fallen timber.  It was chased off by the non-sitting spoonbill when it got too close.
Pools Opposite Of Clare Holland (sorry about the clunky description of the pools in the corner of the paddocks on the South side of the river, but I like the acronym)
  • At least 8 Latham's Snipe;
  • 4 Red-kneed Dotterels
  • 0 Black-fronted Dotterels
Willows on South side of Molonglo
  • Several Darters and Little Black Cormorants on nests opposite the canoe club;
  • Several more Darters (mainly females) not on nests all the way to POOCH.
