This afternoon around 3pm thought there was a dog in the water down the inlet channel from the Bittern Hide but getting the binoculars onto the commotion found the fox helping himself to dinner. One less Purple Swamp Hen.
 
Then from the Cygnus hide there was much overcrowding in the nesting tree - 4 Spoonbills at the bottom right side while one lone Spoonbill was sitting high on the left. 5 total.
 
And one more thing - can someone tell me if this LBB seen at the Namadgi Visitor Centre is a Jacky Winter please?
