We went up to Warks Road early this morning only to find a locked
yellow gate at the bottom (out in the pine plantations, several kms
from the beginning of the forest, ie not the usual gate).

So we went round via Bendora Dam Rd and walked down Warks Road from the top.

Lots of birds and activity, Fan-tail Cuckoos calling, Grey
Shrike-thrush, White-throated Treecreepers, Flame Robins, Yellow-faced
Honeyeaters &c. A Spotted Quail-thrush sitting in the road pretending
to be a clod of earth.

On the way back a Singing Bushlark half-way along Uriarra Road.
