Hi !
 
 There was a Ostrich farm along the Monaro Hwy, not far from Bredbo, I'm not sure if it's still a going concern.  These birds were readily seen, the males more so, in fields on the L.H. of the road when heading north to Canberra.   These ones I would imagine are either escapee's or there is possibly some electrified fence holding them contained.
