My wife photographed the
male Holder Eastern Koel in our garden last Sunday. It was immediately
driven off by our Magpie-lark pair (whose nests are chosen, amongst
others, for egg laying by the Koel) and a Bowerbird.
It was subsequently seen in
a nearby tree. I have not heard it call yet.
