Hi all,
Was aroused out of bed this morning (I won't say when; suffice to say it wasn't too early) by a flycatcher calling in the backyard. After half an hour or so of viewing (it had the rather annoying knack of always perching behind leafy branches) I eventually got decent views and concluded it was a male Satin Flycatcher. In fact, its still hanging around as I write.
Its interesting to note that Satins now outnumber Leadens (at least my records of both) around the house (Rivett) by 2:1.

Also, I forgot to mention that there were 2 White-throated Gerygones yesterday at Cooleman Ridge.

Cheers
Tobias
