MargaretHelen mixes up 2 x tablespoons of RAW sugar in 1 x litre hot water for the honeyeaters. Let this cool down. If there a lot of activity, and the weather is cool, then no need to store in the frig. otherwise suggest you do so. Initial email I said brown sugar; use raw sugar. DON'T use honey.Our containers are clay ceramic and tend to crack in our frosty conditions which means we bring them inside at night. Terracotta is a better medium.
