Plenty of birds around between the passing showers, but highlight had to be two platypus swimming together in the river next to the carpark. a bit of an altercation each time they got to within a foot or so of each other, but seemed to be enjoying the damp and overcast conditions because they stayed around for about 10 minutes on the surface. (2nd shot attached has the 2 animals if you look closely)
