I went for a short walk near Kelly's Swamp at lunch time today.
There's a pair of Black Winged Stilts on the far side of the large southern
pool in Kelly's Swamp. Other birds seen in the area - Superb Fairy Wren,
Silvereye, Red Browed Finch, Grey Fantail, Red Wattlebird, Masked Lapwing, Pink
Eared Duck, Eurasian Coot, Purple Swamphen, Grey Teal, a family of Black Swans
with cygnets, White Ibis, Little Grassbird, Australian Reed Warbler, Little
Pied Cormorant, Blackbird and White Browed Scrubwren. In the sewerage ponds
were Hardheads.
A Brush-tailed Possum seems to have made one of the hides his regular sleeping
spot, and there were a lot of rabbits and one Hare.
