Forgot to mention,
on 28/8 @ c. 2 pm at Woods Rreserve I met 2
elderlyish persons of Eastern European appearance and accent ( i.e. `naive'
b. watchers) who informed me they had just seen a `peacock', with a
long tail ;
judging by the scratchings in nearby loose soil
near a heap of logs, I thought their sighting must have been a lyrebird; the
spot seems rather low for such a sighting, is this so? But guess it's not much
lower down than Tidbin.
