They appeared to be trying to catch and kill rabbits armed only with their
hands and kitchen knives. Not exactly a safe or humane method, I'd suggest,
much as I'd like to see the numbers of rabbits near Kelly's swamp drastically
reduced.
I went for a walk along the Molonglo near Duntroon today. Lots of Red Rumped
Parrots, a couple of Darters, some Wrens, Starlings and a Mudlark having a
bath. Wish I'd had my SLR for a shot of a Darter drying its wings reflected in
the water...
