The Owl is still around today, Thurs.  At lunch time it was roosting in a Eucryphia moorei (Pinkwood) tree near marker 115 on the main boardwalk path up the rainforest gully (southern - visitor centre side).  Quite hard to see though, you need to walk further up the path beyond the 115 marker, turn around 180 degrees and look to the right and up. Still being harrassed from time to time by the Currawongs - this is the best clue to locating the bird's whereabouts.
