A magpie was sitting on nesting material in the V of an electricity pylon at Parkwood this morning. The pylon is in the northern, perhaps NW corner of the Belconnen Golf Course, alongside Parkwood Road.
Has anyone else noticed a similarly adorned pylon this year?

There was also a Dusky woodswallow on more mundane cables nearby.
