Straw-necked Ibis are putting in an appearance at Holt of late with a few singles and pairs feeding on Holt Playing Fields. Overhead, seen from back yard, usually on a westerly heading, small groups of about five to ten birds. Yesterday afternoon, 20 to 30-odd birds strung out in a long arrohead formation.
