Had great views of a pair of Wedge-Tailed Eagles while riding to work this morning, on the bikepath between Scrivener Dam and Weston just below the Defence Force Staff College. One bird floated across the path about ten metres in front of me and landed in a dead tree about twenty metres off the path. Its partner was sitting in another tree a similar distance on the other side of the path. After a couple of minutes they took off in the direction of Black Mountain. Nick |
