Went birding on Sunday around Lake Tuggeranong.  Amidst numerous sightings of Darters and several Little Pied Cormorants we believe we had two sightings of a Pied Cormorant.  On one occasion the bird in question was flying fairly high over the main part of the Lake, on the second, three hours later seen some distance away against the Weir wall towards the southern end of the Lake in proximity to a Darter.

We're confident that neither sighting was of a Little Pied or Darter.  Pied Cormorants are listed as a 'rare visitor' could this be such an occasion?
