We observed a solitary Yellow-tufted Honeyeater yesterday morning at around 09:00 in O'Connor. As with the observation at Mulligan'Flat it was neither feeding nor associating with any other birds. It perched as if resting for almost a minute atop a leafless deciduous tree and then departed in a more-or-less northerly direction. There are some uncanny parallels here!
