A solitary Yellow-tufted Honeyeater was observed this morning at around
10:30 in the northern part of Mulligan's Flat. I have not seen this
species previously in this reserve. Has anyone else?
It was neither feeding nor associating with any other birds. It
perched as if resting for almost a minute atop a dead Acacia
dealbata and then departed in a more-or-less northerly direction.
