As requested by Michael I have attached a graph showing the
A values for starlings. Note that:
- The series start at Year 2, since the data for
starlings is somewhat distorted by observations of a large roost in Year 1
which was not used in subsequent years; and
- I have deliberately used the same scale for both
series to contrast the peak numbers of the two species.
I will let others consider the biology underlying these series.
