Sheena is an friend who has spent countless amounts of time with others
to count and ensure these birds are still there and to lobby for their
continued survival.
They are on the cusp of disappearing altogether.
There are to many scenarios like this these days.
I have only heard them and never seen one in the wild.
It was calling no more than 10 feet away but in such dense undergrowth
that it was completely hidden.
I would like to think that they will be bought back so that they will be
around for the future.
QLD still has a different mentality thought.
What other state would have the Dept of Environment and Mines.
