Seen yesterday am in a euc near the second bridge in the Jerrabomberra Wetlands an immature Olive-backed Oriole with a dark bill. A late stayer? The illustrations in HANZAB do not do the bird justice, they are drab, positively dismal. There were lots of Fuscous and New Holland Honeyeaters around, and groups of Red-rumped parrots and European Goldfinches.
