Hi Jilian
Last week I observed 3 YTBC's in the leafless dead
branches of a (Holder) neighbours Silver birch tree. There were there for
about 10 minutes and there may have been some seed pods there for them to munch
on. Several weeks ago I saw two in a
silk tree dircttly across the road from this sighting, again perched
in dead branches.
A nice surprise while working in Kambah today - at least 3 and possibly 5
Double-barred Finches . The downside was 2 Spotted Doves in the same
garden.
Cheers
Rod
