The ANPS Wednesday walk today went to Corner Hill in Yanununbeyan Conservation area.

The drive along Woolcara Lane was made exciting by sighting 5 Wedge-tailed Eagles soaring over the pastures alingside the lane.

Once walking through the woodland a number of walkers commented how quiet the birds were.  Despite this we ended up with 26 species seen by the time we got back to the cars.  This included a wide range of Honeyeaters (Yellow-faced, White-eared, White-naped, Brown-headed, Fuscous HEs and Red Wattlebird); 3 Scarlet Robins and 1 Eastern Yellow Robin; Brown Quail; 10 Varied Sitella.
