Spent 3 hours there this morning.  I have never seen it so poor for birds in many (about 20) years.  100 or so Crested Pigeons, few insect-eaters except for weebills and 1 doz migrating D Wswallows, a single bronzewing.  Sad.

 

On the other hand, the street is good for Gang-gangs.  5-6 birds every day, possibly refugees.  3 separate broods of peafowl continuing to visit daily.  These are reaching the point where they might be worth writing up as Australia’s only self-sustaining population, although Parks are currently considering whether to adopt a reductionist policy towards them.  There have been some complaints.
