Hi Jim

Frank O'Connor's website Birding Western Australia would be a good place to
start, packed with info on birding sites, including many around Perth. Also
checklists of mammals etc.

Jon Hall's excellent Mammal Watching.com has a nice page on finding mammals
in WA. http://www.mammalwatching.com/Australasian/australasiawa.html

cheers

Steve

Hi All,

A South African friend is visiting Perth in July for two weeks and is a
top birdo (he is our birding safari guide for Kruger). He has asked us to
recommend him some spots for birding and other nature highlights.

I've only been to Perth a couple of times so would recommend Rottnest
Island. I'd very much appreciate any other hints.

thanks in advance
Jim Longworth
